Driving to the airport along the Easter n
Metropolitan Bypass, one can see the ropeway inside Science City.
The 50-acre Science City, established with the pioneering effort
of NCSM, has added a new dimension to science teaching through discovery
in an outdoor setting. There are over 150 science park exhibits
so far, on Mechanics, Survey, Sound, Optics, Mathematics and Bio-Science.
Aviaries and rabbit enclosures are added attractions. Exhibits are
rugged yet easy to operate. Almost all exhibits have self-supported
structures and do not need any foundation. Exhibits are all mechanically
moved and do not require electricity.

Dynamotion
A large number of interactive exhibit s
on physics, chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, geography and environment.
Energy Ball
A large exhibit displaying the principle of conversion of energy
by balls rolling down loops and bends.
Also see Dinosaurs Alive, Aquarium, Insectarium, Butterfly Corner,
Spinning Platform, Musical Fountain and Science Park. Restaurant,
Snack Bar and Picnic Area facilities available.
Convention Centre Complex
Seminar Halls of various capacities complete with simultaneous translation
system and audio-visual system. Lounge for catering, telephone, fax
and secretarial facilities available in the convention centre complex.
Space Theatre
A thrilling experience of travelling through the Serengeti Reserve
Forest in Africa, surrounded by the wild animals in action, or sailing
into outer space in search of extra terrestrial life in the universe:
Astrovision, combined with Universum, brings you a unique excitement
in a 360 capacity tilted dome theatre.
Time Machines
A simulated journey through space or going back in time.
