Dum Dum, Calcutta's Airport, is 22 kilometers (14 miles) from the city. There are shops, an exchange counter, a restaurant, a bar, a duty-free with a limited choice of goods, and a hotel, the Ashok International. Taxi and bus vouchers for the city can be puchased in advance inside the airport. The Foreign Travel Tax is INR 100 for most international flights and only INR 50 for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Transit Passengers are exempt provided they do not leave the bounded area.
